I am a  clinical social worker with 15 years of administrative and clinical experience and have consulted with range of advocacy, direct service, and educational organizations.    My consulting services are designed to support the work and missions of non-profit organizations from a strengths-based, action-oriented, and feminist perspective.  I lead a diverse team of consultants who advise and participate on projects in their areas of expertise.
 
As a  social service administrator, I  have developed and directed programs serving  homeless  youth, children, and system involved families in  Washington State.  I have expertise in service delivery design, collaborative program development, staff management, secondary trauma, strategic planning, event coordination, and problem solving in relation to large, social service programs.  In addition, I specialize in helping organizations address secondary trauma issues and develop sustainable working conditions for direct service workers. 

My direct service experience includes assessment, treatment, and crisis intervention for  women, children, and families  affected by trauma and violence.  My practice is strengths-based and eclectic, drawing on narrative, cognitive-behavioral, and solution-focused techniques to support people in living fully in alignment with their goals.
